I think they should try just once to see what happens.  And why
shouldn't they care about their subscribers' wants?  That is the
audience who cares enough to commit their money to a full years' worth
of issues.  Are newsstand readers worth that much more?

I think that before the PMOY cover concept is completely done away
with, it is worth trying this one time.  Even if it is a flop, there
is still the possibility for subsequent years of multiple covers.
