She looks like she wants us to join her, and we really ought to take her up on the invitation. that gauze makes the affair too contrived, too busy and in my eye, too smarmy. From a mid-20th Century perspective, it's a stand out. If you can accept the gauze as a necessary evil (which I can) then you can look past it (and through it) and see a pretty darn good picture of a very attractive young woman. Carrie has a stunning figure. She looks a lot like the Venus di Milo, with arms. Her eyes are amazing as well. They are extremely bright and alive. I'd love to see pictures of her smiling. Here the look of invitation is sultry, sexy and genuine. Men have waged wars to get a woman to look at them like this. The pink is a fifties color. Although dated, it mostly works in this century. It comes close to dominating when it shouldn't. The other down note is Carrie's left arm: awkward and forced.
