It looks like we're getting a favorable review. Animals in centerfolds don't always work, but this is one lucky Siamese. The seal-point fur is used as the basis of the entire color scheme, from the off-white of the sheets to the light blue of the curtains. The patterned quilt picks up on these as well as Avis' auburn hair and takes them in a different direction, but does it with enough subtlety that it's never distracting. I also like how the black-lacquered wastebasket or laundry hamper picks up on the Oriental theme of the cat. The two are placed to balance the composition quite well. This pose is great for Avis as well. It really makes good use of her soft, full, highly rounded features. Her hips, breasts and back are all expertly showcased. The placement of the blanket/fig leaf does a good job of hinting at what lies beneath without being awkward or prudish. Avis' hair is also well done. It's not a perfect coif, but it fits very well into the overall mood and feel of the centerfold. I'm trying to avoid referencing other centerfolds in these critiques, letting each stand on its own, but it struck me as I was writing this that this is the centerfold Linda Moon should have gotten. Maybe not in a line-for-line duplication, but I think Linda would have looked fantastic in this setting.
