In Judi Monterey's centerfold (January 1963) we're reminded that bubble 
baths have other uses than just getting clean.

This centerfold, and even more so Judi's smile, are the epitome of 
"cute". There are a fair number of things that are sexy, and this kind 
of cute is definitely on the list.

Judi strikes me as a water nymph. It may be partly because of the 
faux-Roman statue on the left side of the picture, or possibly because 
I've seen pictures of nymphs or sprites that remind me of this shot. 
Judi's youth is also playing into this. It's emphasized in a couple of 
ways. The most obvious way is probably the hair ribbon. Squeezing her 
arms together and the resultant breast shape is another, more subtle 
visual cue that this is a young woman.

The twist in Judi's torso shows off her lovely bottom, adding to the 
sense of play and delight that we get from her smile. She looks like 
she's about three seconds short of springing out of the tub to join us, 
but not necessarily in a sexual encounter, at least not right away. 
We're just as likely to find ourselves challenged to a soap fight.
