In Connie Mason's centerfold (June 1963) she's stretched out on the bed, 
ready for another go-round.

There is no questioning the artistic value of this centerfold. I really 
appreciate the economy of color. They are few, but they are blended in 
constantly varying proportions. I love how the placement of the picture 
balances the lighter area around Connie's face.

Speaking of Connie's face - what a look! If your sexual partner ever 
gives you a look like this, go for it. Forget the computer games and the 
chores, you've got other things that should be on your agenda.

Yet . . .

In looking over all of Connie's pictures I'm left with the distinct 
impression that she had very mixed feelings about posing nude. There are 
too many shots of her clinging to the wall or (as in the centerfold) 
flat against the bed. The alternate shot is only slightly less modest 
than the centerfold but shows much more ease. In the centerfold, 
Connie's really got a death grip on the blanket.

Unlike some other centerfolds, it's possible to ignore this conflict and 
enjoy the promise, if not the fact, that we are in the presence of a 
beautiful, naked woman.
