In Sharon Rogers' centerfold (January 1964) she's looking over her 
shoulder at us, offering to let us take the position now taken by the 
teddy bear.

This centerfold has a very, very juvenile feel. From the teddy bear to 
the hair ribbon to Sharon's baby-fat figure, we're directed to deal with 
Sharon's youth.

Then there are her eyes. Not as innocent as the rest of the picture 
would lead us to believe, there is a measure of experience in her 
invitation. There is no doubt that the teddy bear is not the focus of 
her desire, just something from her past that she hasn't totally left 
behind. I think that's the reason this has always struck me as a 
youthful, rather than child-like photo.

It's another monochromatic picture, done very well. We get to see the 
contrast between Sharon's dark hair and translucent skin. I've always 
thought of this as a "Slavic" look.

The pose is a great one, and the best I've seen for Sharon. The only 
change I would have tried would be to have her back a bit straighter to 
make it more defined and her bottom rounder, but I'll go with this 
without complaint.
