That didn't tire her out, so now she's got something else in mind. This is another centerfold where the selection and use of color really stand out. The redwood cabana is a wonderful contrast to Maria and both her yellow towel and swimcap. Maria is a very light woman, and the redwood warms her up quite well. The mottled background on the right gives some form while continuing the warm-up. I also like the hairdo and expression. It's straight out of the sixties, of course, and owes a lot to Laura Petrie, but it's still nice. I think it's a style that a lot of women look good in and a few women look fantastic. Maria's smile is also worth a mention: artless, natural, inviting. The pose is weak. It's not really all that flattering to Maria, and there's not much power associated with it. Maybe powerful women weren't as attractive in the sixties. It could also be the response to Maria's obvious pregnancy. Perhaps it's the pose that worked best, considering. The diagonal formed by Maria's right arm is about the best part of it.
