In Claire Rambeau's centerfold (October 1971) we've just a few minutes 
to enjoy her form in the light of day. After that, we'll have to turn to 
a more tactile approach.

This centerfold was one of Playboy's attempts to relate to the Hippies, 
but as the cover of this issue shows, style had already moved on and the 
Hippies were no longer cutting edge. If that's enough for you to move on 
from Claire's centerfold, you'll be missing a lot.

Take a moment and consider the skin just over her left breast. The 
photographic elements are so good you can make out every dabble and 
every nuance in her skin tone. I think this is a major element in a sexy 
skin tone, and I was very sorry to see it disappear for a time.

The other major erotic element is the way Claire's right breast is 
cradled and caressed by her beads. The best thing about it is that you 
can see this as a very artistic or a very salacious treatment. For that 
matter, you don't have to choose: go with both interpretations.

The only slight downer is Claire's "Am I doing this right, Mr. Posar?" 
expression.
