In Ellen Michaels' centerfold (March 1972) she's crawling up on the bed 
to join us. I'm not going to shove her out!

Everything seems to have clicked on this centerfold. The Native American 
theme is very well played. I'm not sure how directly this ties into 
Ellen, but in my eyes the Native American designs and themes are used in 
ways that add character to the picture without being exploitive or 
condescending.

I also love the diagonal that moves from the top left to the lower right 
in the picture. Not only does it make for a strong graphic, but also it 
steers our eyes to move up and down Ellen's wonderful torso. The pose is 
also a great one for her figure, highlighting both form and texture. The 
choice to highlight a couple of ribs was a particularly good one. The 
tan lines are perfect. They highlight Ellen's breasts but are muted 
enough that they don't startle.

Then of course there's Ellen's expression. It burns into you with an 
overwhelming sexual heat. There is no doubt about what is on her mind or 
who's going to benefit. (Ellen, of course. We're just along for the ride.)
