In Miki Garcia's centerfold (January 1973) we're in her boudoir and 
she's showing us her jewels.

For a time in the late sixties "retro" meant a "Victorian" style. Rich
brocades, intricate prints and dark colors were high fashion. I think
it's a toss-up as to whether we're seeing that in this centerfold or
if we're seeing an evocation of a Storeyvile bawdyhouse. Either way it
works pretty well. The light is dark where it needs to be dark and
light where we want a full view of the proceedings.

Although she seems to have had some trouble with it of late, I have no
problem with Miki's selection as a Playmate. She has a wonderful,
natural physique. It's not athletic and toned so much as it is supple
and fit, a look I prefer. She looks especially good with a vertical
torso, and I'm glad to see that's what we have here.

Her expression is good as well. It's a blend of invitation and
innocence. It says, "I'm nice to talk to" as much as it says, "I'm
nice to make love to." There are several worse combinations in a
woman, and none better come to mind.
