She seems to be completely unaware of us. As Dan Stiffler has pointed out, this is the only centerfold where the Playmate is not looking at the camera, and by extension, at us. I'd say that lets me refer to it as an experiment. I don't think the test was a success. There is a real disconnect between model and viewer. It moves the centerfold from the realm of the pin-up closer to the artistic. While I love a good art nude and I wouldn't even be reading Playboy if not for the artistry of the photos, in the centerfolds I want a pin-up. On the erotic front this centerfold succeeds in spades. It's a great pose for Ester and matches the greatness of her figure. I like the flowing bath water. It smoothes out the skin in a surreal way and lets us concentrate on Ester's extremely pleasing curves. This seems an even more appropriate choice given Ester's evenness of skin tone. Even though she's not looking straight at the camera, Ester's expression is solidly in the world of passion and sensuality.
