In Nancie Li Brandi's centerfold (December 1975) she's applying fresh 
perfume after a shower. We may soon have the good fortune of retracing 
the path of the stopper.

The best thing about this centerfold is how perfectly the pose fits the 
model. Nancie has the figure to pull this pose off. The lines of her 
breasts combined with the lines of her curving back and torso remind me 
of an art-nuveau poster by Ertl. The background is much simpler than an 
Ertl poster, but the overall feel is there.

Nancie's expression is one of her better ones, showing more animation 
than usual. She or the art staff seemed to prefer a more detached look. 
Having said that, the pose is a little more contrived than I usually 
like to see in a pin-up. A real woman couldn't curve her back this much 
for very long unless there was something amiss.

I first saw this centerfold in early November, the spring colors and the 
shower setting seeming like a breath of fresh air. Playboy works several 
months in advance and centerfolds are shuffled around for various 
reasons, so it's hard to tell if that was part of the plan or not.
