Now she's ready to play "Truck Drivin' Man." The mood and the implied situation here are deftly captured in this excellent centerfold, and Patti's expression fits right in. The jukebox and the single headlight outside the window with the neon sign speak to any heterosexual male who's found himself in a diner late at night. Patti is such an attractive woman that even when she leans backwards, which is perhaps her most unflattering posture, she still looks good enough to take your breath away. That's the only downer here. I would have preferred a much less mannered pose. However the pose is the kicker that gives this photo a "4.0" on the artistic side. Patti's slight curve is an excellent foil to the gridwork of the sign support and the horizontal bars of the jukebox. Most of the other major lines are parallel to the frame of the photo. The pose and the lighting work together to draw our eyes upwards to Patti's angelic face. Six days on the road and we're gonna make it home tonight!
