In Nicki Thomas' centerfold (March 1977) she's lying on the daybed, 
about to thank us for this morning's flowers. Or are they last night's?

It's not for nothing that this centerfold rates a 4.0 in the artistic 
category, I love how the white sheets carry into the yellow pillows 
which the carry into Nicki's tan body. I love the subtle balance between 
the bright red flowers and Nicki's bright eyes. I love the placement of 
the white blaze of fabric just above Nicki's back. I love how Nicki is 
posed to highlight the sexiness of her back and the roundness of her hips.

There's a slight disinterest showing on her face. Maybe I should go for 
the gold. I love how the gold bracelet just echoes the shimmer on 
Nicki's lips. I love the very slight left to right downward slope.

So why isn't this a 4.0 centerfold? It's that look on Nicki's face. 
There is the chance that he gift of flowers arrived too early. We woke 
her up and now the only thing on her mind is for us to leave. This 
chance that I've made a huge mistake keeps me from being totally relaxed.
