Therein lies the problem. I know when I'm watching the latest effects-driven would-be Hollywood blockbuster that the actors that seem to fly are wearing wires. I know that the "Matrix Moment" was done with multiple cameras and a morphing program. The story, however, should be good enough that I don't care. It should be good enough that I can forget the mechanics of the thing and just go along for the ride. Looking at this centerfold, I can almost hear the photographer giving Janet directions. The "story" is so weak the mechanics are showing. Janet's putting her arm up to frame her face because she's been told to. It shouldn't be this obvious. It could be that the creative staff thought the pose would work, and it didn't, or it could be that Janet wasn't able to work with them to give them the look they wanted. Not knowing the principals involved, I won't hazard a guess as to who came up short here. Janet's erotic appeal is a result of her expressions more than her figure. Unfortunately, this pose does not bring out the best of either.
