Really, really excited. This centerfold falls short in all the ways I measure a centerfold except one. Michelle is an attractive woman, and I'm sure she would fare better in other settings. About all you can say about this picture is that it's of a lovely, naked woman. Maybe for some viewers that's enough, but for me I want a little mystery, romance and/or artistry. It's not enough to be a naked woman, there has to be something that draws me to that particular naked woman. The lighting's pretty much O.K., and more or less works with the black and silver, but it never comes together with the kind of "snap" you get in a very good photo. The composition is too random, a jumble of mismatched shapes and bright highlights. A happy woman is a nice woman to be around, but happiness per se is not sexy. There's more to it. Some of the sexiest pictures Playboy et al. have run show women overflowing with happiness, but they also brim with a sensuality that's only hinted at in this shot. Coulda been, shoulda been better.
