Looks like we run the risk of being rode hard and put up wet. In my eyes this is an attractive yet unspectacular centerfold. A lot of things look very nice, but no fireworks. I like the placement of Mardi's necklace. It outlines and defines her breasts. A lot of the form would be lost without it. The iridescent blue and turquoise accents work not only in terms of the color scheme, but also for the mood and setting of the entire work. The lighting is mixed. On the one hand I like the touchability it imparts to Mardi's skin, but her face seems way too washed out. The horned chair and the coiled rope surprisingly work well with each other. The circular forms in both and the matching color tones are the kind of background detail that show that at least some thought was put into the production of this centerfold. Mardi's posture is curious. Her back seems to be curved too much to be natural, and her stomach seems too taut when either a softer or a more toned look would have been better.
