Subject: [PML1] CC: Kelly Tough

In Kelly Tough's centerfold (October 1981) she's on the settee in the 
music room. Audible music is not what's on her mind.

This centerfold wants to be a lot sexier than what it is. The arched 
back pose and the sultry look in Kelly's eyes don't live up to their 
promise. They're not annoying, just much less than what Kelly is capable 
of. I suspect an editorial committee has mucked up the works, or perhaps 
an idea was stretched to the point where it lost its original punch.

Despite that, there is still a very welcome, very enjoyable and very 
strong erotic message coming from Kelly. Looking at the camera through 
the top half of her eyes is an old cliché, but it shows no sign of being 
threadbare here.

Kelly has some very strong curves, but in this centerfold the strongest 
are in the setting. I love the way the drapes curve into Kelly's torso 
and outstretched legs. I like the way the top of the settee divides the 
picture in two. I love the way the record on the turntable balances her 
lovely dark hair.

It's by no means a disaster, but this centerfold could have been better.
