What a pleasant surprise to meet Christine in a dark alley! If she is the result, I won't be insulted to be called a "Stage Door Johnny". I'm really mystified by why this avenue was chosen for Christine's centerfold. The basic idea is good enough, but it is so different from the shots where she looks so much better and it was poorly executed. In her best shots Christine is bursting with sexual energy, vitality, and the simple joy of life. In her more serious shots, she can be very sultry and alluring. Neither quality shows up here. The colors are good. The dark blues and reds all work very well with Christine. Her expression hints at a bit of invitation, which could be good, but its benefits are overwhelmed. Where the centerfold doesn't work very well at all is in her costume and pose. In her pose she's too stiff to be relaxed and too informal to be alert. Her costume, while the right colors, chops her torso into odd and discongruent shapes. The cane adds to the feeling of awkwardness and stiffness.
