In Kari Kennell's centerfold (February 1988) she's offering us an 
alternative aperitif.

The entire focus of this centerfold is on Kari's wonderful round bottom 
and shapely legs. The contrast in shape between the bent and straight 
leg is wonderful.

The artistic elements are just first rate. Her brilliant blue dress 
splashed around the lower part of the photograph makes it impossible to 
concentrate on anything else for very long. The rest of the colors in 
the centerfold key off of this in a wonderful way. The blue color could 
easily have overwhelmed everything else, but yet it remains in 
proportion. Kari's hose stops at just the right spot on her thigh. The 
accessories such as the glass on the floor are perfect background 
players, enhancing the setting but never stealing the show.

Kari's attention is directed solely at us. There is no hint in her face 
that this staged photograph is anything but reality. It does draw my eye 
to the one minor note in the centerfold. I think I would have dropped 
her left shoulder just a bit and perhaps raised her chin. As it is, 
there is an element of tension that seems a bit out of place.
