To: pml1@yahoogroups.com From: Mark Tomlonson Date: Tue, 13 May 2003 23:37:05 -0400 Subject: [PML1] CC: Eloise Broady In Eloise Broady's centerfold (April 1988), she is standing, probably in a photographer's studio. Unlike the "Classic" style of centerfold, there is no implied situation here. Also unlike many of the classics, there is no strong graphic structure. Instead, the strongest artistic element is the color palette. It is a masterful mix of browns, tans and whites. No feature of her body gets a particular highlight. Having her nipples just peek over the top of her white demi-bra draws attention to them, but there's not really anything remarkable beyond the fact that they're attractive female breasts. The flight jacket hides her torso, and having them slightly crossed downplays her legs. The partially open jacket and the crossed legs do hint at a "V" which is about as geometric as this picture gets. Where this centerfold succeeds, and does so in spades, is in Eloise's expression. Direct and inviting, it leaves no doubt what's on her mind. It does so without a hint of artifice, and it's what makes looking at this photo enjoyable.
