The best thing about this centerfold is that it's not based on the "clown" theme we saw in her PMOM feature. The centerfold does point up some of the excesses and silliness of the eighties. It's a decade that, in retrospect, is seen as a "Big-hair" decade. Terri's comb over strikes me as extremely unflattering. It's as if the stylist said "Look what I learned today in beauty school" just as the photographer clicked the shutter. The other thing that troubles me is how Terri's sexuality is presented. It's a very feline look, but what's missing is Terri's equality in the relationship. Or perhaps it's trying to force Terri into an erotic mold that's not the best fit for her. It's probably just a style thing that I'm reading too much into, but it makes the photo much less attractive than it could have been. The other elements of the photograph are all good, but not worthy of too much discussion. The teasing view of Terri's breast and the just-removed bra are the best elements.
