In Renee Tenison's centerfold (November 1989) we've surprised her in a 
sate of dishabille in our front hall. If only this vision would appear 
every day!

This centerfold is a bit retro in its very strong geometry. Here we have 
a strong vertical outlined by the frame of the mirror and the "real" 
Renee. Two angled lines, the bottom of the mirror and Renee's left leg, 
support the vertical. That little bit of gold in the lower right of the 
photo finished up the line, and I seriously doubt that it's there by 
accident. Waving like a flag from this vertical pole is Renee's 
reflection, this time in profile.

The tricky part about taking a picture like this is that the two images 
need to work together. If one steals the show, the other one shouldn't 
fight it. Here the reflection assumes the minor role quite well. It does 
great things for Renee's figure but makes her face look a little gaunt 
and severe.

There are two major strengths in this picture. First is Renee's 
bustline. Second is her expression. It's a surprised look but still 
conveying invitation, a message that it's O.K. for us to be here with her.
