Several tricky things are tried here, and all of them succeed. It's very easy to take the kind of challenge Bonnie has on her face and turn it into a threat. There's a whale of erotic difference between "Are you man enough for me?" and "Touch me and die, wimp!" but yet only a minute difference in the actual expression. Playing peek-a-boo with body parts is also a game that's difficult to play. With Bonnie, probably as much for her attitude as her posture, it works and works very well. We're getting a preview, not some forced cover-up. Even those socks with the little puffs on them that women seem to like so much work well here. I'm not all that big a fan of lace, but here we've got the right amount in exactly the right place. Even some things that aren't that tricky are done well. Bonnie's hair, the tilt of her head, the combination of the plain white and checked costume, the way the shoes echo but don't imitate the skirt, the subtle highlight on Bonnie's face: all are done in top form.
