To: pml1@yahoogroups.com Subject: [PML1] CC: Angela Melini From: Mark Tomlonson Date: Wed, 06 Aug 2003 20:28:40 -0400 In Angela Melini's centerfold (June 1992) she's leaning against a chair in what could be a den or study, but that is a minor point. The major points here are Angela and the colors. The centerfold is all about yellows and oranges and browns. I can't see how any better choice could have been made. The contrast between these warm colors and the cool dark blue of the wall is excellent. Angela is leaning to her left, just enough to add interest to the photo without looking like she's about to fall over. Her arms and the way her robe is placed extend the line of her torso. Having the robe fall off the left shoulder adds a sense of motion and life to the pose, and a very subtle hint of a strip tease to the implied situation. Her arms and the robe also work together with her necklace to draw attention to Angela's lovely breasts and her well-proportioned figure. I know Angela is on someone's list of women who never should have been Playmates. I am completely baffled by this. She has always seemed to me to be one of the more lovely women to grace a centerfold. Angela appears to appear on only one person's "Why the hell is she a Playmate?" list, and that's good. Even though the centerfold rates a 4.0, the alternate is just kick ass. It's got to be in the top 10 all-time HOT Playboy pictures. Mark Tomlonson Kalamazoo MI
