It reminds of this one time, at band camp . . . I've always wanted to like Amanda, because at the time this centerfold came out she reminded me of a young woman I knew who was playing clarinet in a pit orchestra with me and was an Army musician. Fortunately, I never accused this young woman of my own imagination, and I was a gentleman until we parted ways. Don't let my predisposition to like Amanda hide the fact that she is a very attractive woman. What I like most about her pose as I look at it in 2001 is the way her legs are arranged. It's a much more open, unforced and graceful feel than the I-have-to-go-potty look we were plagued with in the late 1990's. It's also much more erotic, a mood continued by Amanda's lovely expression. On the technical side I like the way the stage draws our eyes up to Amanda's. I like the way the printed sheet music provides both color and texture accents. The way the pose brings out the best of Amanda's petit figure shows it was an excellent choice for her.
