Subject: [PML1] CC: Julie Cialini

In Julie Cialini's centerfold (February 1994) she's stretched out in 
front of the bandstand. The band's finished, the crowds have left, and 
now it's just the two of us.

I've mentioned several times that Julie seems to be a woman whose sexual 
heat is difficult to catch in a still photograph. But to see her move . 
. . The challenge then in a photograph is to convey that sense of 
movement. Julie's centerfold is a very attractive photograph and shows 
her off as a sexual being, but compared to her video presence, she's a 
bit tepid.

I am in awe of the control and the use of color in this photograph. The 
design on the front of the music stands, tan fading into a white 
highlight, echoes but is not a literal copy of how the light falls on 
Julie. Her hose are just the right shade. Her red robe is an extension 
of the color scheme and subtly brings her out from the background.

The pose is a great one for Julie, emphasizing her long, limber build. 
Her hairstyle is slightly retro, but it does wonderful things for her 
face and is an excellent choice in this context.
