In Heidi Mark's centerfold (July 1995) the sun has set after a day at 
the beach, and now she has an idea for spending the evening.

The thing I notice first about this centerfold is the sense of pending 
action in Heidi's pose. Right now she's resting, with one hand on the 
porch rail, yet there is tension. It's like watching one of the big cats 
on a nature film. Fortunately for us, it looks as if we'll be faring 
better than a slow gazelle. I think this underlying tension is most 
visible in Heidi's expression. There are strong elements of both desire 
and pent-up action in that look.

The slight twist to her body as she hangs off the porch contributes as 
well. It's more interesting that just a straight-on view, shows off the 
goods in fine form, and lightens up the center of the photograph. The 
dress makes a nice accent, and the way it's being worn adds to the mood.

Also adding to the feline nature is the night setting. Predators often 
work at night, especially the most dangerous. Heidi doesn't threaten, 
but we're out of our element. We're at her mercy. We'll try to keep up.
