In Jessica Lee's centerfold (August 1996) we've surprised her at her 
dressing table.

Jessica makes a lovely Playmate, and the centerfold does her justice. 
The choice of this art deco vanity as the background was a good one. It 
provides a stellar frame for Jessica without being too obvious about it, 
as well as warming up the proceedings. The pin-up cliché mirror has a 
minor role to play here, but it does so ably. The neat trick was 
balancing the fussy, detailed vanity and its accessories with the 
less-patterned Jessica.

Another outstanding choice was the corset. It shows off Jessica's chest 
to real advantage while at the same time adding interest and subtle 
amount of tease. The flowers on the corset tie in with the flowers on 
the vanity. More importantly the shape of the corset, especially below 
Jessica's navel, is echoed in her pose. Several curves are repeated, 
drawing attention without going to a gynecological spread leg pose. The 
unfastened garters work well.

Sometimes it looks like Jessica is a deer caught in a headlight. I don't 
mind that we've surprised her, but it looks like we've shocked her. Or 
maybe not. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting pleasant surprise.
