About 45 years ago, Hef said red was his favorite color. That may explain the red in this centerfold. It's well done, but there's nothing too remarkable going on. A bi-chromatic red and white color scheme is not that easy to work worth. A red piano is generally more associated with Liberace than the concert hall. It would have been tempting to have slipped into the false erotica of that look, but Playboy's art staff did an excellent job of not straying over that line. It's also not easy to work with a model that seems to have so much trouble smiling. Victoria has a very attractive face, and I enjoy looking at it no matter what she's trying to convey, but she is one of those people that apparently find it difficult to smile convincingly on command. There are far greater sins, but we don't see any of them here. Everything works well, with the possible exception of her shoulders. They're pushed together for reasons that totally escape me.
