We've tested our love skills on the machine, and now in Nikki Schieler's 
centerfold (September 1997) she's graciously offering to give the final 
exam.

This centerfold defines a "2.0" rating. There is nothing wrong here. 
Every color fits into the overall pattern, there is no awkwardness in 
the pose, nothing makes Nikki look bad and I could see coming back to 
this photo several times, enjoying the view each time.

We don't find anything really outstanding about the photograph, either. 
The colors are competent, but no outstanding example of creativity. The 
pose is graceful, but there is no sense of drama or action. Nikki is 
standing in front of the machine, and she looks like she has no thought 
of doing anything else in the near future. The pose avoids highlighting 
Nikki's strongest features - her breasts and a wonderful range of 
expressions. We've been given silver, but there was gold here.

The only real negative is the stuffed animal at the lower right of the 
frame, adding fussiness for no apparent reason.

The real positive is getting to see a wonderful, smiling Nikki naked. 
It's hard to argue with that, and it's a big reason why we read Playboy.
