In Marliece Andrada's centerfold (March 1998) she's chucked her 
"Baywatch" swimsuit and is leaning up against a "Baywatch" rescue truck 
while (not surprisingly) standing on the beach. You'd think she had some 
kind of connection to the show.

Marliece is not the first actress to use her PMOM feature as a tie-in 
with her career, and she won't be the last. When the Playmate looks this 
good and the centerfold is this well done, who can argue? Even if 20 
years from now young Playboy collectors don't have the slightest idea 
what "Baywatch" was (maybe they will) it's still a good centerfold.

A couple of things here are definitely retro. First, Marliece is an 
absolutely natural woman, not only in her figure, but in her hairstyle, 
grooming and make-up. Secondly is a T-square and triangle graphic 
construction, outlined by the leaning Marliece and the framing of the 
truck. The slick yellow paint and lettering on the truck make a strong 
contrast to the soft and flowing Marliece.

The only quibbles are less than perfect twilight lighting and an 
expression that makes it difficult to tell just what Marliece has in 
mind. Something a little less pained would have been better.
