In Angela Little's centerfold (August 1998) she's standing in the garage 
after a shopping trip, dropping unveiled hints that maybe we shouldn't 
go into the house just yet.

As several of us have mentioned before, cute is good, and Angela is 
comfortably within this category. Having her pose in a home-y setting 
plays to this strength.

Vehicles have been relatively rare in centerfolds. This is surprising 
given the role of the back seat in American sexual culture. The 
selection of a two-seater Thunderbird for Angela's centerfold also plays 
to the fresh, sporty, wholesome outdoor look she projects. The "LOVE" 
license plate is corny, but not too obnoxious.

The colors chosen are interesting and show a measure of original 
thinking. Red is pretty standard in erotica, but the pastel highlights 
of the shopping bags and the amount of space given over to the lighter 
colors of the concrete garage floor are worth noting.

The Achilles' heel of this centerfold is the garage door. It cuts Angela 
off at the forehead, and worse, it makes for a false top to the 
centerfold. As a result, both Angela and the photo end up looking much 
more awkward than they deserve.
