In Vanessa Hoelsher's centerfold (September 2005) she is waiting for
us in the wine cellar. Mr. Playboy is recommending a vintage.

One of the hallmarks of a great pin-up is the model communicating
directly with the camera. Vanessa's biggest failing is that she
doesn't do a good job of this. She is a stunning model, and her figure
has every right to appear naked in our favorite magazine. Playboy has
always been about more than just pretty parts: we need a good model as
well.

The other failing is the pose. I think there is just a bit too much
pelvic thrust. I'm not talking about the fact that there is no hair
where God put hair. Because Vanessa is thrust so far forward, a lot of
pleasing lines around her pelvis are lost.

I'm not sure how I feel about that Son of a Bacchus gaping at
Vanessa. I'm glad the set dressers et al. are thinking about this
stuff, but I wish they would do it with more class.

Even with theses faults, I'm glad to see Vanessa as a Playmate. She
may have trouble with a camera, but I think she would do all right
with me.

Cyber Club Portfolio Photo I like better than the Centerfold: #1. This is the shot that 
should have been the centerfold. Had it been, I would have rated it in the 3.0-4.0 range. 
Direct, unmistakable connection with the viewer, a much better form around the pelvis, 
and still Vanessa'a smokin' body.
