In Laura Croft's centerfold (July 2008) we're in a boat at
sunset. After a quick swim, she is more than willing to get out of
those wet clothes. Perhaps we can warm her up a bit.

I can't think of a more perfect set of colors in which to place
Laura. (Well, maybe the green stripes of my bed sheets.) The dark
colors of the boat's hardware and the darkening skies emphasize her
lovely brunette hair and those amazing brown eyes. Also great is
framing the picture so that the superstructure of the boat looks like
it is holding Laura, a role I'm sure many of us would wait in line for
days in the hopes of filling. The warm dark colors and the suggested
arm around Laura all make this a very intimate and private
setting. And who would complain about that?

The real highlight of this centerfold is Laura's expression. It's that
traditional Playboy mix of innocence and desire. Laura doesn't want to
take on the 7th Fleet; it's just the two of us alone on the boat. I
don't know what role Laura plays in real life, but here she is clearly
devoted strictly to the viewer.
