All we need to do is ask. We don't even have to have been a good boy. How can you consider pin-up photography and leave out Bettie Page, or for that matter, Bunny Yeager? Both were often copied, and continue to be copied in style and substance. Bettie is the perfect pin-up model. She can be the girl next door or the girl you meet behind the bushes. She can don the most outrageous bondage attire with the same ease as a sport outfit. Her figure at the time this picture was taken was astonishing. It's not inflated so some may find it less than spectacular, but I don't see even a single line out of place. The main contribution of Bunny and the art staff was to get out of the way and let Bettie do her thing. Folding her legs lets us enjoy their full curves while still in a compact setting. Bettie's inhaling, of course. A bit of artifice, but when the results are this good, why quibble?
