There is a lot to like here. Unfortunately, most of it is outside the realm of erotica. Much has been written over the years about the emotional effects of color. I will make no claims to being an expert, but I love the use of color in this centerfold. To me it sets the benchmark for the centerfolds that were to follow. All of them show signs of trying to be this good, and a few of them make it. The colors flow from one to the other. The red in the print, the tan of the walls and the dark colors of the sofa and pillows. Where else do we find this mix? On your average dark-haired naked Caucasian. The other place where this centerfold shines is in the graphic layout. A lot of awful stuff in the fifties claimed sophistication, but this makes it. We have a mix of angles and forms, but they all work together to make a very pleasing whole. Now if only we could pump up the erotic as well.
