In Nancy Crawford's centerfold (April 1959) she's changed her mind about 
the fox hunt, and is suggesting a more private hunt of our own.

Compared to the rest of the 1959 centerfolds Nancy's rises towards the 
top. My favorite part here was to reserve the bold, rich, pure black and 
red for Nancy. It really makes her pop out of the background yet doesn't 
look as planned as it probably was. The background, if it wasn't so tied 
to an English Hunt Club, could easily pass as French Provincial. Popular 
at the time, it's difficult to print well. In the prints I've seen of 
this centerfold the nuances and shading of the whites and golds are well 
captured.

I like Nancy's pose and costume. It shows her off well, within the 
standards allowed by the time. I like the rhythm that's set up with the 
sofa, her legs and her torso. It's not all that dramatic, but it's very 
pleasant to see.

Nancy looks very good here. The invitation is subtle, classy and 
WASP-ish. I'm not damning with faint praise. Her relationship to the 
camera is flattering, both to her face and to her figure.
