In Adrienne Moreau's centerfold (March 1963) she's kneeling on a pillow, 
feeding plastic fruit to a stuffed parrot.

What the hell is going on here? Adrienne is an extremely attractive 
woman, with a full, well-proportioned figure that could launch a small 
flotilla, if not 1,000 ships. We only get the barest hint of that in her 
centerfold.

The only natural part of her posture is from her hips down, and that's 
probably because she's kneeling. Her right arm is stiff and tense, the 
left tired. Her back and her shoulders are hunched forward slightly, 
which minimizes her breasts and makes her stomach look flabby. Her 
strongest features have been not just downplayed, but made to look bad 
when in truth they are stunning. In pin-up photography this should be a 
flogging offense.

Those evergreens over her head look like they died before the parrot 
did. The set looks like it was first used in the days of flash powder. 
The yellows, the brightest color that catches our eye, look putrid. 
There is only a passing sense of composition.

Above all, the look on her face tells us that Adrienne probably knew 
this was a stinker when the shutter was clicked.
