In Tish Howard's centerfold (July 1966) we've caught her without tennis 
whites in front of her locker. What male reading this has had not 
fantasies about catching a woman as gorgeous as Tish in this very position?

There are a lot of facets to female attractiveness, and cute is just one 
of them. Cute is also the driving force behind this centerfold. Tish, 
despite her PMOM feature title, has a more cute than patrician face. 
It's easy to get the ingenue feel. Having her look over her shoulder as 
if to see if anyone will disturb our moment in the locker room adds to 
the effect. Had this been done incorrectly, we would be getting a look 
of avoidance instead.

Her cuteness extends to her back, bottom and legs. The half-concealed 
breast offers more of a tease than a feel that something is being hidden.

Adding to the cuteness factor in a more subtle way is the strong 
emphasis on red, white and blue. Even more, the red and especially the 
blue are strong primary values. This gives a feeling of youthfulness, 
lightness and freshness. The tennis racket and other items add a good 
balance, both in color and complexity.
