In Susan Denberg's centerfold (August 1966) she's paused just as she was 
about to enter the shower.

There is something about this centerfold that I find really, really 
troubling. Susan's expression makes me wonder just how happy she was 
posing. She looks as if she is about ready to start crying. I can't 
completely shake the image of Coco (Irene Cara) posing in "Fame", where 
her nudity is the result of her being tricked and feeling powerless. In 
Susan's face I see the shadow of an abusive pimp behind the camera. I 
don't know the story of Susan's posing, and none of her other photos 
that I've seen show this same look. Nor have I any reason to suspect 
that this photographer would have been involved in that kind of 
shenanigans. The feeling remains, however, resulting in the "0.0" erotic 
rating.

The rating certainly has nothing to do with Susan. She is a beautiful 
woman, a fact that is more apparent in her non-centerfold appearances.

The photographer's contribution to the centerfold is competent, but not 
particularly inspired. Nothing wrong, but nothing outstanding, either. 
The best is the contrast between the red patterned towel and the simple, 
direct background.

Update:

I don't remember Susan by her centerfold as much as I do by her 
appearance in the original Star Trek as one of "Mudd's Women". Man, am I 
a geek or what?
