In Melodye Prentiss' centerfold (July 1968) she's just getting up from 
her bed. The invitation to join her for another round is direct, 
unmistakable and very welcome.

If you'd like to argue that Melodye was one of the best looking 
Playmates of all time, I'm certainly not going to contradict you. Not 
only does she have the kind of body it's easy to imagine making love to, 
she usually has an open, engaging expression on her face that makes you 
think you've got a good shot.

The pose in the centerfold works well for her, mainly in showing off the 
shape and the softness of her body. There are a couple of problems though.

The large circles by her head work quite well. If only the same cold be 
said about the stuffed toy at her feet. The large circles place this in 
the sixties. The toy does that and looks goofy. A stuffed toy fits here, 
just not this one.

The other big problem is the fig leaf. It's a half-and-half tease that 
never relaxes. Thinking about this picture both with and with out it, I 
think a more opaque fig leaf would work much better in this shot.
