In Lorrie Menconi's centerfold (February 1969) she's about to start a 
pillow fight. Or something.

I'll admit right off the bat that this centerfold has never been one of 
my favorites. The pigtails, the expression on Lorrie's face and the 
pillow fight setting have left me cold. The shots in the pool in the 
PMOM feature gave me nothing to work with either, especially those 
dark-blue panties.

Then I saw Lorrie's outtakes in the Cyber Club. Man, what a difference!

Apparently for the PMOM feature the editors decided to abandon the young 
sophisticate look of some of the test shots and go with the naughty 
little girl theme. It is our loss that they made that decision. It's 
possible that because of Lorrie's pregnancy the earlier shots could not 
be repeated verbatim, but I'm still convinced that a different tack 
should have been taken.

Rescuing the centerfold from total disaster is Lorrie's figure. As goofy 
as that nearly tossed pillow looks, her torso and breasts could not look 
better. The pink striped sheets work in this iteration, mainly because 
so much of the bedding is out of focus and we get a light pink blur.
