(Sorry, it's on the radio as I type this.) What can you say about a centerfold that died? The photographer has done his stuff. The art director, the set dresser, make-up, props - they're all in fine form as well. The problem is Lynnda. When she should be popping out at us she fades into the background. Her acting and modeling ability aren't up to what the rest of the photograph is asking her to do. Lynnda's not ugly. A couple of shots that show her playful side show she can be desirable. She's just not a Playmate, and worse, she's not up to the sophistication called for here. Moving on, I love the colors used here. This is what Playboy was trying to do ten years before this and couldn't. The subtle variation in white in the piano, the floor and the background as they move in and out of the shadows is wonderful. Lynnda even has a good contribution in this department. I also love the way the piano is framed and the lines set up by the lid and the keyboard.
