In Azizi Johari's centerfold (June 1975) she's just getting up from an 
antique divan.

This centerfold, as much if not more than any other of the period, shows 
that Playboy was still capable of outstanding work in the "nadir" period 
of the seventies. Perhaps what really makes this centerfold work so well 
is its timeless style. It's obvious that a lot of work went into this 
centerfold, and the effort paid off handsomely.

First, Azizi's skin tone. She is probably the darkest toned Playmate to 
appear in OFM, yet the centerfold carries an air of openness and 
freshness. I don't know how long it took to find that divan, but it's a 
perfect compliment to Azizi.

Secondly, as the portfolio shows, making Azizi look her best is not like 
shooting fish in a barrel. In the centerfold she is radiant. Her hair, 
make-up and expression are all top of the heap. Her eyes in particular 
are shining jewels.

Thirdly, the pose. It flatters Azizi's figure, giving her breasts a 
natural, rounded curve. The way her legs just flow off the end of the 
divan is fantastic. Picking up the pattern on the divan with the 
feathers is a nice touch.
