Let me start out by stating the obvious: Hope comes across as one gorgeous woman. It's a completely natural, girl next door look and it could be different but never better. The real standout though is the lighting. It defines how to make pale skin look great. Hope's skin never looks porcelain hard or cadaverous. There's life there. Every tone of human skin can look stunning, and here we see how to do it with this one. Not only does the light work so well for Hope; it adds a sense of dreaminess and fantasy to the centerfold. I really like how Hope's costume fits in with this aspect of the lighting. I don't see how anything but gauze cold have worked here. I could write a lot more than 200 words about how Hope comes across in her centerfold. The only downer, and it's a small one, is the position of her left hand. It's too forced. Maybe it's all that could be gotten out of the model. I'm not going to worry about it. I'll just think about the good things.
