It's just a pure pin-up. A pure pin-up that's lit my fires for years. Pamela is the best thing going here. She's got a Midwestern freshness that I respond to. She still carries a hint of baby fat, but carries it very well. The pose shows off her figure to its best advantage. That half turn to the right she's doing defines her figure in a three-dimensional way. It's an old trick, but it works very well. The colors in this centerfold were a good choice. There's a lot to be said for warming up a picture, but here we see a good many of the virtues of the cool look. That cool blonde look works very well with the metallic background and the white tuxedo. I like women in suits. I don't know if it's the androgyny or the elegance, but I like 'em. Half out of a suit is even better. The bow tie in this example is placed to set off and frame Pamela's wonderful face. That rising wood molding is an excellent choice, adding just the right amount of drama to the background.
