In Missy Cleveland's centerfold (April 1979) she's waiting for us on her 
bed. This centerfold could have been so much better. It got off to a 
good start, but lost its way somewhere.

The first good start was Missy. She was gorgeous yet totally accessible. 
You just can't imagine that she would be anything other than sweet as 
she accepted (or rejected) your proposal. Another good start was the 
set. The quilt on the bed is the "Double Wedding Ring" pattern. I don't 
know if that was on purpose, but it is good that pastels dominate here. 
You wouldn't want to overpower Missy's light complexion.

We go awry with the pose. It looks like Missy is in bed because she's 
broken her back and is waiting on the Doctor. True, it would be hard for 
her to smile like that if it were the case, but there had to have been a 
better arrangement. We also go awry with the cat. It clearly is 
suspicious of the situation (as a good cat should) but it ruins the mood 
Missy is trying to create. The color works, but a stuffed toy or sewing 
bag would have been better choices.
