In Vicki Lasseter's centerfold (February 1981) we're splurging on a 
night in the big city, and Vicki is about to show her appreciation.

You can apply another scenario to this centerfold, of course, but I look 
at the barrette in Vicki's hair and the slightly awkward but still 
sexual glance over her shoulder and I'm thinking small town girl in the 
big city. I'm not getting any kind of vibe that we've tricked or seduced 
her into being here. We're here as partners.

The other advantage to the pose, besides telling a story, is the way it 
shows off Vicki's great figure. Both her hips and breasts are displayed 
quite well, showing off natural curves, softness and other things that 
draw men's interests.

The hairstyle and dress may be unsophisticated, but they are far from 
being unflattering. Vicki's hair looks great, it just doesn't look like 
it was a $500 'do. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

The furnishings in the room remind me of the way middle class people 
imagine the way rich people live. Which leads me to think Poconos Hotel 
or a downtown Holiday Inn. Not bad, but a fitting match for Vicki's 
hairstyle.
