This is a good, but not outstanding centerfold, and it's a good, but not outstanding pose for Penny. Throughout her Playboy work the soft and feminine side of her was highlighted. It's so strong a part of her make up there seems to be little question why. I love the natural curves her breasts take on in this pose. I'm less attracted to what's going on below her sternum. There things seem more forced and uncomfortable. Color is well done here, as is the lighting. The cool grey is carried through in several places where it's not expected. These cool tones contrast well with Penny's tan skin and warm blonde hair. The geometry of the composition is muted, which is fine. Perhaps the strongest elements are the hint of a diagonal running from upper right to lower left, and the line running from the table in the background along the bottom edge of Penny's teddy and to the table in the foreground. Despite these strong points, it could have been better.
